Vel. Cat. 1704; Upamitibhavaprapanca is an allegorical story in 8 chapters, descriptive of human life from the Jain standpoint of view. It is written in prose intermixed with verse and was composed in Sam. 962 by Siddharsi. The author says that Lalitavistara of Haribhadra was written for him, but this seems to mean that he was greatly impressed by the work and made it his spiritual guide and not that Haribhadra was his contemporary.
